TREKKING and VOLUNTEERING | VINLMTV26-08-A | 2026-01-04 - 2027-01-04 | SOCI | Age: 18 - 70

This project combines Nepali culture, trekking and adventure, volunteer work all together in a matter of weeks. We aim to deliver the experience of a lifetime. After orientation, you will be placed in a family in a Nepali village, where you will be able to visit schools or orphanages to teach English. After this you will be led on a trek - either Everest Base Camp or Annapurna Base Camp. Lastly, you will be given the chance to explore the city of Kathmandu. Capture the essence of Nepal all in one go

Work: Your Schedule/Itinerary-Volunteer by teaching English or other activity to local community.-Trek to Everest or Annapurna Base Camp.-Explore city of Kathmandu.-Share your skills and experience with the local communities on development issues.

Accomodation and food: The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.

Location: KATHMANDU

Location and Leisure: 5 weeks volunteering and Trekking EBC/ABC Charity Trekking 1775 EUR.

Airport: KTM

Train/Bus station: Tribhuvan International Airport

Requirements: We accept volunteers twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. You are required to arrive a day before your project start date. -Basic English should be spoken among the participants - Physically sound as per the project requirements.

A VIN staff member will pick up volunteers from the airport. Please send your flight details in advance so we can provide a name card with the VIN logo.
