This is a management level role. You will need a broad vision of planning budgeting, promotion and use of the multipurpose center. If you are passionate about customer service, interested in working with a variety of different people and help with the smooth running of the Community Learning Centre www.ntclc.org, then this is the best opportunity for you.You will be the first point of contact for visitors who need directions for activities within the building. If you re good at multitasking, being organized and work towards deadlines, this is the right role

Work: Your role-Help with the booking system of halls, rooms, dormitory and other facilities.-Conduct the role on writing emails, answering phone calls and dealing with visitorsIn person.-Develop the system and implement the rules on the right track.-Write and develop the contents on using CLC on website and post updates regularly.-Prepare and train the staffs, briefing and debriefing them.-Researching and reporting.

Accomodation and food: The volunteers will stay with the host family/hostel identified by VIN. The living facilities are simple and basic. Male and female volunteers will share the same living area with separate rooms. The volunteers sleep on simple beds/mattresses. Please bring your sleeping bag.

Location: OKHALDHUNGA

Location and Leisure: Siddhicharan Municipality, Ward 2, Nisankhe-Nestled in Okhaldhunga district, about 250 km from Kathmandu. -Accessible via local jeep (8i10 hours). -Scenic hills, fertile farmland, and dense forests surround it. Requirements: We accept volunteers twice monthly, on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. You are required to arrive a day before your project start date. -Basic English should be spoken among the participants - Physically sound as per the project requirements.

A VIN staff member will pick up volunteers from the airport. Please send your flight details in advance so we can provide a name card with the VIN logo.
